I'm on a Reading tear again and I've come across a great book-
Midnight Blue:Sonja Blue Collection by Nancy A. Collins

Awesome Book. Seduced,Raped and left to die in a ditch by a "Noble"(an Elder Vampire) Sonja was turned in a vampire in the process. Now she's hell-bent on destroying her sire and any else in her way not to mention fighting the Other in her mind. Violent, gory and very dark fantasy with a whole host of unique characters.
